I was pretty disappointed recently when someone from my unit offered to take a bag of shredded paper (about 10 kg of it) to a recycling bin and was not allowed due to security reasons. In fact, i think this is the case for companies and THIS IS VERY SAD...

MYTH ABOUT THE CORIOLIS EFFECT

In addition, I also learnt a new thing, the idea that water drains in different directions in the North and South hemisphere due to the Coriolis Effect is a myth!!!

Since the draining time is negligible w.r.t. to Earth's rotation, it is very much more likely that the
design of the sink/bathtub affects the way the water drains. However, this effect applies when it comes to typhoons and tornadoes.

i hope hammy is having fun at field camp now cos mine was a living hell. digging a shellscrape is like wtf, zomggg knn tiring. its the most tiring thing i have ever done so far. 1 of my platoon mate breathing nearly stopped if not for the help of the medic n oc. all that tactical trainings make u soooo shagged n my knees n elbows were so painful. i still think school's the best place to be. i miss the times that we share in class, canteen and the field even though i spent most of my pe lessons on the stadium gallery last year. coming up will be all my sit tests, live range and live grenade. anyone to provide tips for sit test ???
