We're PLANNING to go to this place called Changing Appetites which serves really nice fusion food :) As it is, I don't think reservations have been made (Huibin) so keep your fingers crossed! But once the reservation is made you can uncross your fingers if not it'll be very difficult to hold the spork and foon. Hahaha. After our very sumptuous dinner, we're going to head-down to the count-down at esplanade. There's going to be a display of fireworks where you can see "firefly"! Hahaha so see you all there and Miss Wong will try to grace the occasion too lol.

woooohooo im baaackkk. as some of you know, some of u don't, and some of you who don't really care (=/), i went to CHINA!!! 9 days long tour and i just cant get enough of it!! Its damn damn shiok man. next time we should all arrange a trip to China. for one thing, the shopping there is AMAZING coz the things there are soooo cheap. for 200 Sing bux i bought... let me think... 1 windbreaker (those stylo Columbia kind), 1 long sleeve collared shirt, 1 pair of CK jeans (!!!!), 1 woolen shirt, 2 leather belts, 1 crystal souvenier thingy with my name engraved (!!!!!), and 5 pairs of socks. =O. Singapore where got this kind of lobang??
so much happened these 9 days sia. Alan Curbishley is back... Gerbert is in army... and Jenhan is bald (i think). T.T. Sianz missed the farewell party. owell hope they, or at least Gerbert, are surviving well in camp.
anyways, back to my china trip. i still havent said where i went. hmm... i dont really know how to describe leh, just see below:
yep, i went to 江南. at first i thought 江南 is a county, or a district kind of thing, and Shanghai city is in this 江南 county. but 江南 actually refers to the whole region 南 of the 江, ie south of the Yangtze River. This includes Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing and Wuxi, all of which i visited =D.
China, like any other country, has its good and bad points lah. on the one hand, the people there are very friendly and helpful, but on the other, their manners are quite bad. i guess i cant really blame them, coz its not that they deliberately anyhow spit by the roadside, or smoke indoors, but its that they dont know that what they are doing irritates others. some examples are given below:
Pros =)
Shopping there is damn damn damn cheap. its super duperrr cheap. i guess i made my point. =/. but too bad we went in winter, most of the clothing there are winter clothes. if we went in summer might need to buy a few more luggages to lug the goods back liao lo.
Scenery there is beautiful. you shan you shui one.
Cities there are actually quite modern. Believe it or not, there ARE actually buildings made from concrete. =O
China girls are damnnn chiooo, esp those from Shanghai. they are very modern and fashionable, yet still seem very shu nu-ish. =D. incidentally, this song below is quite popular in China (no they don't all just listen to one night in beijing -__-)
Cons =(
Smoking there is damn bad. Every other person smokes, and they dont care where they light up. inside the hotel, in the garden, in the restaurant, in the toilet... everywhere can find people smoking
FAKES. everything you buy must be damn careful one. actually, thinking about that pair of CK jeans, it might be fake leh......................... =(
Weather there is bleedingly cold. everyday i pao until like bazhang like that.
AAARGH!! wanted to upload some damn funny photos but my camera doesnt want to upload. =( =(. maybe i can try to get it to work tmr.
ps. ehhh who want to watch the new jay chou movie? heard its damn good leh, but i couldnt find the dvd in china.
pps. wtf i just watched shi mian mai fu, the andy lau, zhang ziyi and takashi kaneshiro show. whole show its just zhang ziyi making out with both of them... -_-. not together. -____-
in case u dun know yet, class outing tmr 630pm meet at entrance of Vilage (Heeren B1) for dinner. possibly balcony after that so bring i/c plx. last chance to see jenhan and gerbert for quite some time so come! and somebody post something leh. this blog is dormant!
