revival

so...cts are finally over.and we're midway through our weekend cum mini break from any work. and it seems horrid to think that on monday we're gonna be back to our usual routine. the backlog..thanks tsai ;) come to think of it, it's like some activation energy diagram. we keep having this cycle of finally keeping up with our work before tests and then letting the evil cycle continue after that. oh well. such is life.

we always need a trigger to move forward. sounds like history in secondary school huh. like the world war 1..the inflation or sth being the trigger for the end of the ww1 in russia..ok i think i got my factor wrong but who cares u get the idea right? haha. a push factor. imagine what life would be if mankind didnt have anything to push himself to achieve great things. as the saying goes.. necessity is the mother of invention.

hahah same applies to the sporting field. players have a tendency only to push themselves to the limits when faced with adversity. for instance, we have to be down by 10 20 points before we start to put our bodies on the line and fighting with everything we've got. but i guess that's where mental preparation comes into play. we prepare ourselves to fight the moment we don our jerseys and step onto the court. this brings me to another thought.it might seem overly loyal to the school or something. but fighting for something is really a feeling you wont forget.to sum it up in one line.i feel really proud donning the raffles jersey..representing raffles...and fighting my heart out for raffles.and im sure many others out there feel the same way as me.haha.

oh well..without a trigger.life would reach a standstill.with no improvements whatsoever.but whoever said that this sorta life isnt nice? i remember vividly watching a movie called "sweet home alabama" in sec 2. i knew then that that was the kinda life i had half a mind to live. just rotting away in some town..where life does not revolve around dollarbills (quid, greenbacks lol) but rather other stuff that make life worth living. i.e. frens and family. the whole town is really chummy with each other.looking out for each other.everyone know what everyone else is doing. like neighbour B's son scored full marks for a math test or sth. hahah that sorta closeness. not such a bad life huh? then u move to the city and everything starts to get complicated. money becomes really essential. no money no talk. hahah and this leads to the subject of discussion of most teens. why are we studying for? lol! but im too lazy to talk about it heh.

anyway yesterday we went ice skating wheee it was quite fun!! there were some really pro ppl skating there.super fast and cool! haha especially the emergency stop and the ice just sort of splashes up.funky man.anyway after that we kboxed. it was quite fun. and eric appeared and immediately blew us away with his rendition of "stairway to heaven". i must admit it was quite a funny song. and the guitar at the front part was nice hahah. well he and ryan had 2 tries to finish the song.and i think "feng" is a nice song.the tune is sort of stuck in my head now haha.chomps outing soon yeah? :)

ok that was a random post. just trying to revive the class blog hahah. enjoy the rest of ur 'break' :)
