long weekend

For me, lots of crap happened during the last few days

Thurs
left school early to set up SSEF poster at science centre. Upon reaching there, i realised that i had a problem. My A0 sized poster was printed on paper thin mahjong paper (black and white costing $12), whereas everyone else had theirs printed on photo quality laminated paper. You can imagine how hard it was to keep mahjong paper uncreased so once i put my poster up, it was a crumpled wreck.
I was shocked and realised that the crumpled wreck would almost cost an automatic dq from the competition so i had to rush home from science centre(jurong, 3.30 pm), convert my poster to pdf at home(serangoon 4.30 pm) , then rush to another copy shop at peace centre(dhoby ghaut, 6 pm) to get the poster reprinted. This time it was finally on good paper and laminated and it was colour, costing only $20.
This was like holy crap cos every other copy shop printed the poster on quality paper with lamination w/o asking but the stupid shop i went to at queensway(ultra supply) did not. (not to mention the price was crazily high).

So basically i was duped, but then again i heard that some ppl paid $100-$200 for their poster, which seems no different from mine.Hahahah. quite retarded there.

Day of poster judging. Moped around for most of the day. Was judged by 3 judges who were like deans, assoc profs etc. But since my project was rather simple in comparison, they spent very little time there(like 5-10 mins each only.haha)
And when i was judged by the third judge, the music on my laptop used for the presentation failed to stop. So bascially i was presenting my poster to the beat of usher. lol. the judge appeared to ignore it though. Again, quite retarded there.


Sat

basically exchanged booths with xian wen so when some member of the public came, we would just say "that booth is not mine" and continue doing our stuff.
The results for yesterday judging out, obviously i didnt win.
but it was a gd experience i guess and i can get to wear blazer and leather shoes.

Then i had to go count money for jobweek. omg that was insane imagine counting stuff like these
100 5 cent coins
366 1 dollars
1200+ 2 dollars
300 10 dollars and so on

but surprisingly the total amount recorded (based on adding up what we counted for each indiviudal earnings) was only 1 buck off the amount counted. which is like a 0.01% error (we earned about 8k)


Sun

again more insane counting. This time we realised that twos retard claimed to have deposited his money even though there was no record of them depositing in the record sheet. And one of them wasnt even seen in school at all by any of us. that would mean a possible 200 bucks lost...
but fortunately we discovered an excess of 200 bucks and so all was safe.
This time there was also a dollar dif again, gosu right?
we can all be accountants

but because of this problem, we finished at 12am and decided to sleep in liang ze house.
After playing midnight soccer at the astro, we reached the junction at bishan road (the huge one we cross to go j8). Then we decided (foolishly maybe) to cross the jucntion diagonally
So we waited for the cars to drive past before dashing across diagonally! hahahaha We have a video of it.

that night i played text twist (word game on yahoo) until 4, reached 50 000 k after 30 mins plus then the com hung.... crap
