hey hey... lets play "review a movie"
Just watched Saw 2 today, even though i haven watched Saw 1. Man, now i know why its NC 16. In fact it should be like R21 or sth. The depths of human endurance and the harsh reality of the survival instinct are explored and probed in the movie.

The movie is about some perverse guy who kidnaps a group of people and dumps them in a house full of booby traps, to play a "game". The thing is that there is some poison gas (Sarin which was used in the Tokyo Subway attacks by the Aum Shinrikyo for those in the know) slowly fils up the house. The people trapped in the house are racing against time to grab the antidote syringes hidden within the house. However, the syringes are protected by booby traps and everytime a contestant tries to get a syringe, they get murdered/mutiliated/put in insane pain. Infighting between the contestants for these prized syringes ensue.
The most memorable scene is when the contestants discover that a key to allow them to escape is hidden inside a pit full of empty syringes. A girl (who later turns out to be the mastermind of this whole thing) gets thrown into the pit by some Mexican muscleman who will do anything to survive to find the key. The tortured screams of pure unadulterated pain and suffering rends the heart. she finally finds the key and tosses it up to the idiot mexican who struggles with it and fails to open the locked door in time before it seals shut.
This movie is really WickED SiCkeNinG, and is NOT for the faint of heart.
